Brazilian Jiujitsu (BJJ)

BJJ is a Brazilian grappling art which evolved in the 1920's when Carlos and Hélio Gracie learnt the Japanese art of Judo from travelling Judoka Mitsuyo Maeda.

Jiujitsu is predominately a ground based martial art, with the objective to achieve dominate positions against your opponent, with the aim to submit them via stangle or joint lock.
